I love anime. I am an almost 40 year old woman and I love anime. I didn't grow up watching anime. In fact, my family didn't have cable until I was in high school. I was able to go to my grandparents' house after school some days and watch Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I know at some point I was aware of something called Sailor Moon but never really looked into it.
When my husband and I married in 2001, he was already into Dragon Ball Z. He and his buddies would get together and root for Goku as he fought Cell and Frieza. I started watching and as I do with most things I have a spark of interest in, I went in head first. We started watching Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho next. This just fueled the embers and I was a full-fledged anime fan. Rurouni Kenshin was the first anime I called my favorite. It is still a show that when I don't know what to watch, I turn on and enjoy. Today, my husband and I still watch anime together. Presently, we are watching My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan together. While we like watching some shows together, we each have other shows that we watch on our own so we don't have to wait for the other to watch or risk making them annoyed that we got ahead. My favorite genre is currently Slice of Life. I have been working my way through all the shows that Funimation has to offer in that category with some Shonen mixed in. I am working on my My Hero Academia collection and that is how I came into the world of selling small, anime collectibles. Thanks for stopping by!
